Hymer 694 3030kg ULW, Hymer 700 3200kg ULW, Niesmann and bischoff Flair 6700 3100kg ULW approx. Bear in mind all of these are BIG motorhomes either with twin rear wheels or tag axles. 6 berth jobs.... www.wohnmobile-galerie.de had a couple of Flair 6700's fro sale for in or around the 22k euro mark. Nice layout with a garage. The Hymer 694's and 700's can be a bit scarce but there are usually a few for sale on www.mobile.de

The VRT situation is a pain. Under 3000kg and you will get whacked for 13% of what the revenue considers to be the market value in Ireland and over 3000kg ULW it's a flat rate of 50 euro. I preferred the option of putting more of my dosh into the van rather than the revenue's pockets!

I'm sure there are loads others out there over 3000kg - what about an RV? Just watch the gross weight on the RV's though for driving on a C1 licence. Oh, and check with whatever insurer you're planning to go with about the gross weight of the van and what type of licence you have. AFAIK, legally you only need a B (car licence) to drive a 'motorcaravan' (even one over 3500kgs) but my insurer (AXA through Dolmen's brokers) insist that you have a C1 (<7500kg trucks) licence. Also, they require anything over 4.5 litres engine size to be referred to them before insuring it. The motorcaravan club also organise insurance too if you're a member. HTH....

**edit** AXA Insurance will cover up to 6 litre engine, larger needs to be referred to underwriters.
