I am sure, that when I was phoning around last year for our quote for the Hymer - NFU offered European breakdown cover, at a month, and you could add the extra months as and when you needed them....
Just got out my file - NFU was £340.55 with a £25 excess for windscreen and UK breakdown included, with an excess of £100 and no legal cover. 2 month EU breakdown can be added for £50, for 17 days £23, 31 days £27....
Maybe worth another telephone call.
They did have to go to the underwriters as I kept asking if it covered things like, gas, awnings etc., etc.,
