Irishrover, you posted early today about crossing from Hull too Rotterdam, i think your post and my reply may have got lost in the changeover, so i have re-submitted it in case , from Hull you will arrive at the port of Moezelweg, if you sail from Harwich you arrive at the port of The Hook of Holland.
Both ports give you direct access to the motorway system and do not take you near the center of Rotterdam.
I can confirm as Bob says for the Hook of Holland, only delay was getting out of the port. Watch out for the coaches Once on the motorway.....plain sailing
