Hi,

Brilliant site!

We're currently caravanners ( a lovely little sprite alpine). We hired a hitop campervan last year and really enjoyed it (no towing, stop anywhere, high up and able to see everything) and so have finally decided to buy one. Trouble is finding one to fit my height (6' 4'') Very Happy

Anyone no what Young conversions are like?

Bye

hoppy

Hi, welcome and I'm afraid not. I do know, however, you are doing the right thing. Cool

Welcome, Hoppy.

I think Young Conversions are a small "bespoke" manufacturer, probably ideal if they can make something special, taking account of your height (how on earth did you manage in the Sprite Alpine?!!!). I recall reading good reports on their workmanship, but beware if you're getting something "odd" done - it'll be "odd" when you come to sell, and maybe not appeal to buyers.

A friend of mine is 6'3" and currently looking at AutoSleeper Duettos, which seem to suit him (maybe you, too?).

Good luck with whatever you get and let us all know what your choice was.

Barry

I'm dreadfully sorry, Hoppy. I didn't mean to pry! Embarassed It must be awful, enjoying "miniature homes" but not being miniature enough! Smile

If you can manage in a caravan, you'll have no problem in a motorhome. Welcome to our "club".

Big welcome to the forums hoppy, enjoy yourself in the company of a great set of helpful people. I would agree with Barry and Sue many of the coachbuilts and A class have beds to accomodate over six footers. Have fun and congrats on "seeing the light" Very Happy Jeffus. Cool
