We (the dog and i) have come over to join you.We also saw the link on MMM where war seems to have broken out about parking in Manchester. We travel mainly in france for about 4 or more months of the year. Our steed is a VW 2.4 turbo Autohomes Merlin.(10 years old so i dont have to shout at the dog if he is rubbing his coat against the (specially imported Belgian damask upholstery). It runs like a dream, everything works and it is as dry as one of his bones. So it doesnt have much style but the world of camping cars we feel should be about travel not exhibiting the latest piece of (what can we get em to buy now).So you will detect old and slightly cynical always interested in new dog walks, dog problems.Look forward to many chats till we disappear in Septmber.Bonnes Routes.
Moondog? cause he always wants to go out at night.

Welcome, Moondog (Oww-Owwwwww!)

You've joined a great bunch here, and there are quite a few dog-lovers too, so you'll be right at home.

Barry

Hi Moondog and welcome.

We like France too and spend three or four months a year there but unfortunately not in one lump. We break it into 4 to 6 week periods.

Some friendly folk here. Enjoy the company.

Hi from one of the other doggy people. I have 3 long haired Weimaraners, then there is Spottydog with (er) spotty dogs, carolgavin has an English Setter, and the boss of course has his brand new Lab. Loads of others too.Is Moondog anything specific?
Andrea.

Hello Andrea Your not so far from me.Im North Essex.
No Jazzer as he is known is an old Jack Russel .
All the other folk seem to have such large dogs which is why i see talk of restraints and harnesses.Dont think my old boy would tolerate that but then he just sits in his navigator's armchair and does nothing until its time for a walk or for grub (so thats hourly ..on the hour)

.Do any of the other doggers take their dogs abroad?
Always interested to hear and share tales of dog adventures in foreign parts and we certainly have enough for several pages. Must go Pizza waits. Go safely.

Hi,
yet another lab in the pack. our girly is 3 on the 16th of this month. we havent taken her on our trips yet as its still new to us. we were all up for takeing her on the last one but she decided to go into season. we didnt fancy being surrounded by a pack of mad wolves at the door so we left her at home. we did see some loose dogs at henllys last weekend so i think we did the right thing. Smile
