Have already posted twice in Chit-Chat so better do an intro quick!

I've had my old Bedford CF conversion for nearly 3 years now and have had a brilliant time with it.

It's quite basic, no hot water (no water tank even!) no oven, no shower, no loo. But I have got a hob, grill, sink and comfy double bed sleepy2

Will be changing it for a bigger one soon as I'll be living in it full time now that my kids have left home brave Wink
It's another old one but it's a coachbuilt and has a few more amenities pottytrain4 thumbright

Am really looking forward to it - no more mortgage, no big house to keep clean and the whole world (or the UK anyway) as my lobster Mr. Green

Not sure if I'll be able to get a laptop, so I'll have to learn as much as I can about full-time living in a van pretty quick before the house goes! Confused Will be reading these forums with interest, probably asking loads of questions, and I'm sure I'll pick up loads of tips help Cool

I wish my last two kids would leave home. But then why should they when they get a free cook, cleaner, ironer, gardener, taxi service when required, interest free bank loans and a mass of helpful advice which they then ignore. Welcome to the site. There is no other place to go for the info you need.

Hi Denise and welcome.

We're a friendly group of people and welcome additions to our ranks. I hope you enjoy it here and get all the information you seek before the house goes.

Good luck

Hi Denise & A BIG WELCOME .

I dont know whether you are aware but most libraries have computers the public can use. Better than nothing when your house is eventualy sold.

Thanks for the welcome everyone Smile

Pusser, you have my sympathies Laughing How old are the last 2?
I thought I'd be here for a few more years yet, but my youngest, 19, suddenly decided he was going to live with his dad. Would've been selfish of me to stop him, wouldn't it? Wink
(The other one moved out last year)
Talking of kids, did you see Eastenders tonight? Pauline Fowler doing all she can to stop her son leaving home. What a strange woman Mr. Green

Motorhomer, I know about the PCs in libraries, but someone told me recently that you have to be a member of each library you use? Seemed a bit strange, but if that's right it's not much good if I'm moving around.
Hopefully someone can put me right Smile

The library facilities are set up to benefit local community, but you should be able to get on in return for a small fee - so I beleive

Cool
