Last year I bought a non slip mat for just inside the sliding side door of our van. After a while I notice it had left a yellow stain on the blue sparkly floor - I removed the mat immediately and have now replace with Turtle mats, but I cannot get rid of the stain, which is really annoying me!!!

I have tried:
Bleach / Grease remover / nail polish remover / bicarb of soda / vinegar / most Autoglym products (which I got free with a sub to MMM) / soap and water.... but I still cannot get rid of the stain. Does anyone out there have a remedy, Oh just about to try baby wipes!! (In joke)

Cheers
Boskybee

Hi Boskybee

You do not say what type of flooring it is that got stained and how big the stain is.
If its vinyl its proberbly dyed forever, something like "cif" might lighten the stain or it could possible just lighten with age and sunlight.
You have proberbly "fixed" the dye with using bleach.

Sorry I can't be more help........

Angie....

I fear it is a reaction between the vynl flooring and the rubber oils in the non slip mat, stain may well be permanant
