Hi all you experts
Is there such a thing as a free download to carry out basic editing of photos anyone can suggest.
I got Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3 as an extra option when I upgraded to latest version of Adobe Reader 8, but I found it a bit confusing and not even sure if I can actually edit photos on it.
My husband downloads photos onto the PC from his Canon Digital Camera and we have loads stored in albums but its all a bit of a mystery to both of us how it all works We manage basic stuff and have uploaded pics into advert etc but thats about all so far.
I have registered for Photobucket but the site is playing up today and just freezes so have no idea what it can do.
Now, when you all stopped laughing and shaking your heads at my total lack of knowledge on this subject, can I be helped - or am I a lost cause

| Hi, Adobe reader is not a photo editing programme. Its is for reading PDF files only. Lots of free editing programmes about or for a relatively small cost Tesco has one which has very good reviews. |

... all free and I posted these up a while ago and several members found them useful. I think it is extremely good value for nothing. |

Yes Pusser, I am sorry I should have read your posting before I asked this question, very silly of me..... but I have downloaded it now
My PC has a Hissy Fit every evening around 8pm and tonight I was right in middle of downloading the photo editor bit when it froze but will try again tomorrow.
Thanks for your very good suggestion.

Maura - what do you want to do with it?
Do you just want to organise photos, or crop / resize, or alter / improve, or go all arty with them?

Gerald I think its one of those where you can't ask the question until you have seen a range of answers. I do things on Photoshop that I didn't buy Photoshop for because I either didn't know it did 'it' , didn't know I wanted to do 'it' or hadn't a clue what 'it' was. So perhaps rearrange your last post as a multichoice question with illustrations. Here are some you can borrow.
Regards Frank
