We have developed a smell in our loo I have taken the cassette out and the toilet seat and bowl off for 4 days. My wife has washed, cleaned, cifed and dettoled the whole area but to now avail!!!!!!!!! The loo is fit for the Queen, but still a smell of wee.
Has any one had a similar experience. The van is only one year old and has been used every weekend since the begining of March. This smell developed the weekend before last. It was emptyed and cleaned, smell was there. The van was used last weekend, toilet emptyed and stripped and cleaned, but still a smell.

(a) Leak in associated pipework maybe ?
(b) Do you have any pets that may have pee'd ?

If all parts of the loo are spotless, then I can only hazard aguess that you have a leak somewhere and some of the peepee has soaked into the carpet/lino etc etc
Have a good sniff on the floor etc

Our thetford started leaking along one seam .. check this as everytime you use it it will leak. This will mean your cupboard resmells everytime the loo is used.
Best way to check is to fill with water and run your hands around the seam as you turn it about .... I discovered it when my hands smelt of pee after carrying the thetford ... yew!!!
I like the mouse suggestion already made. We had that in the kitchen where the litte sods made a nest in the insulatiion inside the oven. Had to get a new cooker. Maybe one has managed to nest between the layers of the m\home walls and the smell is like human pee but much stronger. Mice have weak bladders and use this to trail so they can find their way back home. Perhaps lay down some anti mice tablets which are really cruel in as much as the mouse gets an unquenchable thirst and buggers off to find water and eventaully dies of dehydration. Living by fields we have to use this once a year in the loft and in the kitchen but not without great feelings of guilt. But for hygiene purposes with food preparation I don't know what else we can do.
This could be a mouse, but a strong urine smell indicates that you may have a shrew or two living under/in your van.
We had some in the loft of a barn conversion once, they mark there territory with a VERY distinctive urine smell. They are very small so their droppings are hard to see but the chewing they do is easier to spot. Get underneath and around they could nest anywhere, even in MH wall cavity. These are very small little things with a pointed snout, you could easily fit 5 in the palm of your hand, (but why would you?)
Failing that, ensure that all male members sit down when peeing, we now have this rule after some bad aiming by the 13yo boy (he got the blame) and the resulting damp wallpaper started chucking up a bit.
