Hello all,
this might be a daft question but is there any campsites suitable for visiting Paris ?.
came back from Brugge this weekend after using "camping Mambling" best camping weekend yet if a simmler site is out there for Paris we will be well happy.

Not a stupid question at all, one in the Bois de Bologne. Been there for years. It is a short walk to the bus which then drops you onto the Number 1 Metro line. The number 1 Metro line is the main one you use to go Champs Elyeeses etc.
Site was ok last time I stayed. Beside River, no complaints, safe and reasonably clean.

A beautiful way to see Paris which a lot of people do not know about is to hire a bicycle. Places like Notre Dame are much nicer when seen from the river by bicycle. France train company RAPT does hires.
