Hi quick question, we have an hour to decide to buy an EuroMobil Profila 672 SB

It has 6,000 Kms on the clock.

Any comments from anyone on this van?

Most importantly, it weighs 2723 Kgs and rated to carry 3,500 Kgs The engine is only a 2litre TDCI 92Kw 120Hp Chassis is Ford FT 350

I realise this is fairly small, but would this be acceptable for this size van?

Any quick replies desperatly appreciated. We have used this forum to great effect recently and hope some people can help us again.

Oh by the way the price is €37,000 but no sat tv etc.

The only advice I can give is to wait longer than 1 hour?

We took months to decide.

Don't rush this one.

Why the rush?

How old is the van/ 6000 IS OK mileage whatever as it is diesel

I would agree do not rush into buying a van that is imo sound advice from Chris, there are pleanty of vans around and you need to make the right choice.

Act in haste, repent at leisure. Don't rush into this-the second biggest purchase after your house for most people.
We rushed, and although we got a good van, it was more through luck than judgement, and I have had to do a heck of a lot to it to bring it up to scratch.
Good luck in whatever you decide.

Thanks guys, sound advice there. We have been looking for months but are now in Germany. We need to buy in a hurry as the documents will not be with us in time for us to go home if we don't decide.

The van is a 05

Anyone got any ideas about the power issue?

Thanks again

Thanks ksebruce. that has us a bit concerned now. Anyone else have a 2litre engine? I was talking to my mechanic friend who said there may be an opportunity to chip it and up the power.

Thanks

are you sure is 120 bhp, I Dont think Ford did that output. It will probally be a 125 0r a 115 bhp. Either of which should give plenty of power. The old Fiat 2.8 was not much more.

Our van is a 2.2 130 bhp and thet certainly goes well enough. The 2.0tdci is normally held in high regard in van circules as long as its one of the higher output versions. If power is you only concern I think it will be ok. But as other have said make sure everythink is else ik right.

Richard..

The last van we had was 2.3 fiat and was fine but we now have 3litre Renault which is fantastic.. Personally (and as a woman too) I would go for more power than a 2 litre on an 05 plate
