Well this has taken me quite a lot of programming headaches but i think its ready Smile

I have completed revamped and redone the accessory database, now renamed the Company Directory

The main points of enhancement are as follows:-

added new icons
added find my nearest functionality to searches
added ebay'esque voting with feedback system (More below)
graphical enhancements throughout
Company control panel allowing viewing of statistics for views / clickthroughs and feedback

The biggest addon is a unique (to Motorhoming Wink

) Feedback system
You can now leave feedback for any companies listed within the directory for any contact you have had with them whether it be a service they offer, a product they sell, or general customer service

You can give Positive, Negative or Neutral feedback

Your feedback levels are then co-joined with their entry and can be viewed easily

Each time any feedback is left the relevant company will receive an email (If they have an email address associated with their entry) this email shows the level of feedback i.e. Positive , negative etc and their current stats and finally allows them to come and give a reponse to any negative feedback.

Note: in order to prevent any ongoing discussions using the feedback system, you can only leave feedback once per company and the company can only respond once per feedback. (This may be reviewed once the system has been in operation some time)

Please go and check it out and leave feedback for any companies you have dealt with.

Hopefully this system will allow decent companies who offer good service an outlet for them to be recognized.

The Search facility - It always seems to return accessory suppliers when say I want dealers

rectified Frank, there are no dealers within the directory, the search was showing that message as it was a hang over from the migration from accessory to company database Smile

I think it looks excellent. I've discovered some outlets I didn't know existed Rolling Eyes

I like the ability to leave feedback for them too. Although not everyone's experiences will be the same, it'll give people a general idea.

Looks good.....couldn't there be a link to their website if they have one......or am I so blind I couldn't see it.... Embarassed

there is a link shown and an icon bottom right, but only if their entry has a website listed.

Hi Nuke, could we have a category added for servicing (engine and habitation) or repairs?

Hi nuke,appears good',found some addresses in cambridgeshire already,
that i didn't know existed.
Keep up the good work it is appreciated.
