Dave,
Downtime tonight between 8.30 and 10.00 pm aprox.
Prior to this happening the site went very slow, when it came back online it was slow for about an 1 hour, now at 10.40 pm seems fine.
You may already know all this, but you were not logged on at these times, I thought I would inform you anyway.
Homer......Rob
ps anybody else experience these problems please post, so I know it was not just me, thanks

Rob
I had a similar experience, also at one attempt the site came alive after a long wait but at a massive font size !?
Back to normal now.
John.

I didn't experience any problems. Then again, I wasn't here.

Thanks for the replies, at least now, Dave will be aware of what has happened.
Pusser, I wonder sometimes if you are ever on Planet Earth, let alone on this site.

Once again I am glad it is not just me First I am sent to Coventry or was it Canada, and never mind the jet lag, sent back to North Yorkshire - then couldn't get into the site. until now at 23.44hrs.

Pusser reporting in from Planet Zork. Very slow this morning up here or maybe its down here. Wondering whether some topics need to be archived read only to reduce the size of e.g. General which is huge, if not quite big.
