Hi folks
I've done a search and noticed a few of you speak glowingly of Joeressens in Germany and my dealings with them so far in ordering our Knaus Sport Traveller have been very professional and honest. I was wondering - what do you think of their after sales service and how do you go about getting something done under warranty in the UK as they have told me that UK dealers (for Knaus) don't exactly roll out the red carpet for you for an imported vehicle. Are UK dealers under any obligation to honour the warranty on a German bought vehicle?

We also plan to be living in Spain within a year but I don't foresee as many issues there getting services/warranty work etc - it appears to be just us that have a problem with 'grey' imports.

Any advice from those of you that have been there and done it would be greatly appreciated!

hi mrcanny.
We had our knaus annual habitation check done at vanmobil in belgium(as we were on the continent at the time it needed doing Rolling Eyes )
and it was a third of the cost of uk dealerships. Exclamation
so what if our dealers dont want to touch grey imports they dont want to deal with faults or problems either!!!
I am one of the ones currently experiencing a problem with the new Fiat and wish we had stuck with our Knaus on renault base!! Crying or Very sad
