Beautifully bright and clear here this morning as opposed to yesterdays grey cloudy start.
I usually suffer from hayfever and have done for 45 years but so far this year no symptoms. That'll put the mockers on it good and proper. Sarah has my utmost sympathy it's a wretched thing.
It's good to have Frank back, I've missed his presence here whilst he was on his Welsh Wanderings.

Good morning Frank , Andy and Viv
Great to have you back with us Frank you were missed!!!
Yes it is definitely cooler here today. Just as well because I will be moving furniture around and getting the whelping room ready for our little Leia to have her puppies next Sunday/Monday. She is so huge that I think that she might just come a little early.
Have a good one folks.

Top of the morning to you.
Was sunny and clear when I took Jenny out, but sadly coming cloudy now. Still, we need some rain, or no doubt there will be a hose pipe ban.

Good morning all, the trouble with getting up early some mornings is that it becomes a habit. My alarm's set for 7.20am and here I am!
It's raining and I didn't cut the grass yesterday because Mike doesn't have an exam today so I thought I'd make him do it. This is shaping up to be a good day.
How's the blog coming on, Frank? I haven't missed it, have I?

Good morning Viv and EBs still to come
Much cooler today.
I have a very sick bedlington who had to stay overnight at the vets.
He started throwing up yesterday and could not keep a thing down. By late yesterday afternoon he was dehydrated and very depressed. Poor little boy. Hopefully he will be coming home this morning. To me it is just like having a very sick child.
Hope you all have a good day.

Hi Sharon, your bedlington hasn't got heat stroke has it? Our Staffy loves to sun bathe and a few years back suffered from sun burn and heat stroke.
Have a great day you lot.

No Viv you've not missed it but as well as writing the Blog I have around 300 photos to organise, and 15 campsites to enter into the MHF database or write reviews on. Also the Blog is really two blogs as one just contains the names of all the places we pass through and all the links to maps campsites etc whilst the blog of the trip just has maps, references to interesting websites and photographs plus some joined up writing.
All the maps are done
Over half the campsites are in (up to day 9)
Photos are organised but not all selected
Coast places Blog up to day 7
Welsh Blog up to day 4
I reckon if it wasn't for the garden and the allotment I would have finished by now though
Oh and morning EBs
Hope your dog is soon better Sharon heatstroke would be my guess as well |
