Mike comes back from Glastonbury tonight and has his open day at sixth form college tomorrow. I wonder whether he'll have enough time to scrub five days of dirt off and get some sleep. Laughing

Have a great day.

Viv, at least he won't be covered in mud this year. Wink

Morning all,

We had a bit of a very late night out at our friend's 60th birthday bash, hence the "not so early" knock on the window this morning.

It's a real shame about that Hymer Andy especially when it has ticked all the right boxes, but not enough to warrant another £5000.
Sad Have you seen that model advertised anywhere else?

BBQ at midday, so having a very light breakfast, rather than my usual fully cooked job........................which I had yesterday instead. Laughing Laughing Laughing

The weather is nice and dry, and brightening up a treat over here in the west.

Have a good day folks.

Jock.

Hi Jock,

It's brightened up here a bit as the morno wore on.

The subjects a bit OT for OT, but as far as I can tell the B564's prior to 2002 or maybe 2003 didn't have the nice big rear washroom right across the back and had less kitchen worktop as a result and it's those two features that really added appeal.

Typically Hymer, you can have the 564 with either bar, dinette or L shaped lounge and the only sort that fits the bill for us is the L shaped.

So it rather whittles down the potential vans, especially when we want a right hooker.

I think BH have a same year, lower mileage one for £1K more and Timberland have an '06 for £6K more but that's all I've found after a thorough search.

Enjoy the barbie

Andy

Cheers Andy.

We have had a cracking time here in Westbury, meeting friends old and new. The weather yesterday for the BBQ, was a little bit "hit and miss", until about 19.00 when the skies cleared, and it all ended in a fabulous sunset...........and a couple of bottles of Theakstons "Old Peculiar."

This morning sees a wonderful start to the day with clear skies, and the sun warming us up nicely. Typical.....we are going home today. Sad

I shall enter the details of this quiet and pleasant little C&CC CS in the campsite database.

Have a good day folks,

Jock.

Think of it as going home to plan the next trip, Jock. Smile

We had a great day yesterday and came 3rd. A few interesting bits along the way like Sarah forgetting a crucial part of her costume despite several lots of "are you sure you have everying? Check that it's all there." Rolling Eyes As I had the van with me there was no way I could race home for it (about an hour away) so a friend had to drive me home and back. When we got back a very contrite Sarah had done all the washing up in the van - I should be able to get quite a lot out of this one. Laughing

Mike's back from Glastonbury and doesn't smell too bad. Laughing He's really enjoyed himself.

Have a great day.

Viv

Hi EBs I'm back from my mystery long weekend in 'Amsterdam'.

Thursday was normal flight to Schiphol drink in the afternoon, meal in the evening.

Friday caught train to Assen

Met at station issued with technical credentials taken to Assen TT for the 9th round of the MotoGP world championship. Access to everywhere apart from private VIP parties, and the MotoGP paddock. Even went around the circuit (in a car I hasten to add) after Friday's quali sessions.

Was at the corner where Rossi came off in the race on Saturday and was with the marshals when they cheered him each lap as he overtook the back markers. When I say 'at the corner' I was in front of the safety netting but behind the armco Smile

Absolutely brilliant weekend still on a high, now if only my daughter's contacts could do the same for me at Silverstone, or Spa Smile

Get behind early - it gives you more time to catch up.
