i've had full sky package for about 18 yrs dropped the HD after the free trial, with my eyes didn't make any difference. only ever had it for the rugby & always resented subsidising the soccer but theyv'e never done a set channel always moving it around.
last year the sneaky b*****s moved the final to espn couldn't get it on normals sports package so got that package as well , now we've retired it's all becoming an expensive luxury if we're not there to watch it & still not got decent sat system for the van so decided to trim the package,
phoned up this evening surprise surprise the package that can be installed instantly takes 31 days to cancel never mind will proceed.
then just like the car insurance if your gonna leave us your eligible for this new deal , at present have phone, broadband & telephone with them pay about £90 a month all in new package=3 months at £64 further 6 months at £74 ,

If you are brave enough cancel the lot. I did exactly that a few months ago (and bought a Humax HD PVR)

Ever since I have had all sorts of offers to "rejoin" Sky. latest offer is everything for 75% OFF the "normal" price. IF I hadnt bought the Humax PVR I am certain I would have gone back to Sky.

So be brave, cancel and wait for the postman !!!!
