Hi all, I've now changed my mind and want to purchase a new vehicle. I want a Dethleffs Advantage 5881 HG, does anyone out there know of any good export dealers to work with? Hope someone can help. Razz

lol - took me a minute to work that one out. Very Happy

OFF TOPIC - did you know there's a village called Loggerheads in North Wales? I went through it last week. I nearly called my wife & said, "I'm at Loggerheads".

<ahem>

Yes, I lived in Mold for last 10 years and was given the name by my brother for taking logs from Loggerheads for my wood burner Smile Now I'ved sold up, left my job, moved to my flat in Chester for another month, then off around europe with partner and son for 12 months. I've got a major problemthough, I still need a van. The Dethleffs 5581 HG is just the boy but can I find one in this country NOT. I'm in touch with a lady from Germany

I was in Ruthin two weeks ago for my Uncle's funeral, sadly. My Aunt is still there, after they both came down from Scotland in 1952 due to a job posting. I still remember going to Ruthin for holidays when I was a wee laddie.

Yes Ruthin is a very nice town. You been to the castle they do a medievil night where you can act like a king or queen, eat off the bone and drink the mead. Razz Most of Wales is very nice, but for me I enjoyed the west coast, places like Mynt, Fishguard and Newquay. Have you been to any of these towns?

I have not. I've had an aversion to Wales in adulthood due to my preconceptions of the local weather. I have to say though that I was impressed with the feel of the place during my recent visit (first since many years ago) and have decided to explore a bit more in the van.

Dougie.
