I worked it out to be 43 pence per litre, current exchange rate was 0.67 so only slightly cheaper than over here where we usually pay between 46 and 49 pence per litre. Diesel was 1.06 euros per litre didn't take not of petrol price. Have an enjoyable and safe trip, let us all know about it when you return.

Right now I´m having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I´ve forgotten this before.

You are correct Don. I worked it out with one of those on line conversions; it must have been totally out of date to have given me that figure!
In my neck of the woods we are paying anything between 47.95 and 49.95 a litre so LPG in France will be a little cheaper for us.
I have heard today that we are coming back from France two days earlier than I had expected, Why? Because I reach the grand old age of 70 next month. I told the family that I didn't want a party so they have gone and arranged a family camping and caravanning weekend instead!
It will beon a site somewhere near Dover so I am being taken there on Friday 17th August straight from the Ferry!!
