Might not affect many of us (except me!) but Evesham Technology the UK computer manufacturer has gone into liquidation.

Apart from staff losses it looks as if Evesham will continue without its own brand retail outlets.
Had a couple of PC's in the past when it was the days of "Evesham Micros" and was happy with products and after sales. In more recent years the after sales seems to have deteriorated.

The whole computer industry in general is closing down. Mainly due to mass retailers like Dell who can sell pc's for peanuts. Fine if you like the impersonal touch.

I've had 3 PCs from Mesh over the years and been very happy with them and the service from Mesh.
Last year Evesham went top of the league form customer satisfaction.
Guess where I bought my new PC from in February?
Had 3 Eveshams but regret to say their customer service went downhill. Whilst my current Evehsam won top marks in tests, and seems to perform well, I vowed never to have another one because of their attitude to customer service. They just tried to pass the buck.
I have to question Evesham's business model if they invested so much in HCI. I looked at HCI, before the tax man cameth, and decided it was not a viable option for my organisation. The high street deals were just as cheap without the administration.
