Bought a 910 for use down here in Spain......great for finding all those funny village and street names.

Had usual problems with mount/s. No joy from TT, even though the unit was only weeks old, as I couldn't find receipt [bought cash going through Gatwick!].

But, having read about the HUGE amounts of GPS thefts [leaving sucker on window indicates that a unit may be in the vehicle somewhere] I decided not to fit to widowscreen. Simple cut n chop of the useless sucker mount meant I could position unit below dash, but could be seen by me of course. Signal is received via the small remote antenna on corner of dash.........all in all, better than original.

PS......I have since re-read artical and noted that high theft rate/damage was in UK, not here...... Rolling Eyes

..
