I was watching one of the shopping channels on TV last night and they had a product called the Benefon 'Twig'. It was a mobile phone with a built in Sat Nav. £199.99 It was about the size of a mobile phone, but it was packed with useful features. Has anyone got or used one of these units? seems to me to be very easy, nay, idiot proof to operate. Just the type I need. Laughing

Are you an insomniac as well? Saw it in the wee hours as I was flicking through the channels( just in case something intelligent was on) looked good until the chap started promoting the fact it comes with UK and Ireland maps like they are all you will ever need! Switched over several times and found an interesting program about Salvador Dali. Sorry haven't got one and will not be changing from Tom-Tom despite his quirks. Smile

we both have O2 XDA Orbits - these have wifi and gps built in - so you can have tomtom mobile on it - they are touch screen and absolutely fantastic (i've posted about them previously on this forum)

they are also moddelled as the tmobile compact III without wifi and orange have similar models out

dive into any phone shop and ask to see the gps models - they'll love to help you out as these are the top of the range ones - carphone warehouse (although i'm loath to admit it) will have a good range in
