We have the Movelite XL.
Whether it would be suitable for you would depend on how high you mh is. Ours is 2.9mtrs, which would be ok if the door was not so high up. We are not able to open the door without it catching on the roof of extension which attaches to the mh. (Does any-one have a remedey for this problem?)
If you intend to use the straps that go over the roof of the mh be prepared for the noise as they whip the top of the van in the wind, also the position of the straps. One of the straps went right over the Heki on our van. (Not good.) Consequently we haven't really used the awning as intended ie.attached to mh. Hope that helps.

There's a little roller you can attach to the door so's it rolls along the fabric rather than catching on it. A friend of mine has one fitted - she got it in a caravan shop.

Thanks Patnles, do you use the awning as a drive away and if so is it easy to attatch and detatch from the van and also does the awning attatch to a wind out awning ( in the closed position)?

I had heard of those but could not find anything on the net. I'll have a look around the caravan shops.
Thanks

We don't have a wind out so can't help with that one and we dont' attach it to the mh as we can't open the door with it attached. We did attach it once with the straps (door still catches) and they unclip easily to drive away ...but... It was very windy and the noise was irritating and we couldn't open the rooflight so we took it down in a strop Very Happy. If we do ever use it again it will be as a tent, unless I can find one of those magic rollers that Viv mentioned. We usually only drive away when we're moving on and so not had experience of detaching whilst awning is erect so not a lot of help to you really. Awning is easy to erect and I think would be easier to attach and detach if our mh wasn't so damn high, and we are both quite tall but still struggle.

Hi timofleeds.
We have a movelite xl for our Benimar. When be bought it we also bought the J rail fixing kit, which attaches to windout awning .It took us a few attempts to get the positioning right etc.Depending on how the van is levelled etc,we have also found, that sometimes the attachment flaps a bit or the the door hits it.This hasn,t put us off using it.We are very pleased with ours as its a lot easier to use than our harrison awning.Once up we found that the xl has loads of room, two entrances, and zip out panels to convert it to a gazebo. As for using it as a drive away,we haven,t tried it .but to disconnect it from the van it,s just a matter of winding out the windout awning and slipping the j rail (fixing kit)off.Hope this is of any help to you.
P.s we would be interested in the roller too.
