Just signed petition. Mine is a 2004 Fiat based m/h and has had one previous guardian. So am interested in your plight, even though it does not have the rust problem you are victims to. We will be at the NEC on Friday and Saturday.Keep us posted.

Online Petition Fiat-Peugeot Water Ingress to Engine!!!
Isn't this a little unsporting to Fiat. As I understand it, Fiat have acknowledged the problem, have developed a 'fix' and are just about to release it to their dealers. I may have misunderstood the situation as there seem to be so many threads on this subject I might have missed something. I was under the impression that my local Fiat dealer was being totally open with me

Hi.
Has your local Fiat dealer given you a date for the parts to be available? My injectors are rusting, the seals at the base are disintergrating, I worry that parts of corroded sealing washers will fall into the cylinder bores when the injectors are removed.
I first read that a fix will be available in October, then I heard that it was going to be December. I am sure that without all the efforts by Peter at Swift, we would not have had any indication by now when a fix would be ready.
Fiat's silence on this is a disgrace, they now have to work a lot harder to regain our confidence. What will happen next time a fault is found?
We need a permanent fix, not a FIxed Again Today one (FIAT) If Fiat had gone public weeks ago, all that has happened on this would have been unnecessary.
