I've got a Fiamma Awning of unknown heritage, I cant even find out what model, but I assume it must be a mid to late 1980s as the vehicle is a 1986 Merc 309D.

The awning has locked at one end and for the life of me I cant see how it has locked or how it can be unlocked - any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've looked at the Fiamma site with no luck.

Thanks in advance

I'd be inclined to get the step ladder out, remove the plastic cover from the winder end and then unscrew the winder mechanism to have a look - maybe it just needs TLC & some graphite lubricant

Hello rogerm,1980's Fiamma Awning has it got a silver coloured
metal release latch (one at each end)if it has it may need spraying to
release it,hopefully it just needs greasing and nothings broken.
