Just got back from the show-got to go back Sunday with SWMBO to see if she agrees with me short list when we MAY change vans.
No comments yet about the new Corado vans on the Brownhills stand?
Definitely German, and 'said' to be from the Hymer stable, but at £25k yet.
I thought the show was OK but that what a vast difference between some of the salesmen/women on the various stands.
Many were excellent, a few I thought outstanding, but others were simply a waste of space, not having a clue about what they were selling.
If I were the MD of one of the big foreign brands (no names, no packdrill) I would be pulling my hair out.

The NEC is renown for being an expensive venue for traders, I understand £10,000.00 doesnt get you much in the way of a stand. So it is understandable why many traders you see at other shows cant attend.

You would need to sell an awful lot of toilet blue to pay for the stand !!

Well we went and we enjoyed. We were not looking for another van but........................................... we ended up really investigating a few and are currently flicking through the brochures again.

Bought ourselves a freeview box from Roadpro and some new melamine.

Noticed that the "pocketsurfer" that roadpro are selling has sold out twice!

That is one item on my christmas list anyway

Interesting comment by oldenstar, reminded me of our visit on Friday.
A salesman pointed out that there was no cooker in the van we were looking at but he had heard of a wonderful new idea for cooking that involved two pans and a lid that sort of worked together in which you could fry, roast, stew etc. All we could do was burst into laughter when we realised he was talking about the 'Skillet'. He looked a bit upset.
