Just noticed this little folder at the start of the line which takes you straight to the last post on a thread. Was it there this morning?
Great idea, well done chaps.

Whoops missed that thread
Still I like the idea of having a choice of going to first post on a thread or the last on ones I frequent like the Early Birds thread Especially as I have the main page as my home page on the laptop and tend to nagivate from there.
Thanks for the heads up Gerald
Rob

Hi all,
I find this new way of going to the last post on a thread very hard to follow.
This is because both keith and I use the same log on page. I find that if keith has already read the forums, when I come to read them it just says no new postings. I don't always find time to log on constantly and find it of interest to start reading a thread from the beginning.
This new way takes more time and makes little sense to me. You read a book from the front to the back and not the other way around. If you have previously read the posts you can always scroll down to the latest, refreshing your memory on the way. Is it only me that finds this annoying.

No you are not on your own. It may be two or three days between reading the forums. I then suddenly find myself being directed to a post which can be several replies away, from the last time I read that particular thread.

Lots of people have commented after a partial fix has left forum navigation this way. Even some moderators aren't happy, and we have been promised a fix.
This is the thread that started the partial fix and where we have been promised a solution I've sent you to page 3!

Get behind early - it gives you more time to catch up.

I used to think I understood what clicking on certain buttons did. Nowadays I worry I'm losing my marbles; perhaps I should just sit back and ride the MHF functionality adventure like a roller coaster.
