from 2-7th november. We may well roll up to have a look around at the new stuff, even though we're not looking to change. It's usually a good day out. It's always amazed me how they get all those vans in there.
The number of m'homes seems to increase every year.

I'll be going on Friday 5th.

Nothing in particular other than a leisurely nose around.

Yes well I have got hubby to take time off and come over from Dublin for this particular weekend - but after not being able to make it to York I don't want to get too excited. We are still determined to get a 'van but need to go and sit in a few and weigh up all the pro's and con's of our shortlist. The Murvi is still very much top of the list, but we are also thinking of importing a LH drive as well as it will be used mostly abroad.

Oh dear, decisions, decisions.

As this is our first show and we are coming from Kent it's not too far to travel but am I the only person who absolutely hates Earl's Court?

If you spot two very bemused folk wandering around with dazed expressions - that'll be us Confused wave and say hello.

By the way any chance of Mr Roastie being there Raine? or is Earl's Court considered too posh for such likes??

MM

What are the parking arrangements at Earls Court. As I rarely ever go to London is it advisable to take a car via the M4.

I'll be going with my press badge on. Get your orders in now - with any luck I might be able to get some free nosh!

Oh, and the show... yeah, forgot about that. So accustomed to my life as a ligger I often forget what the food and drink is actually for, hee hee!

See you there on the Saturday!

you have just confirmed my thoughts. Don't want to go to London show as I dont think people seem to think much of it. Usually go in "gangs" to the motorhome shows but this one seems to be a big sales pitch for big dealers?

Well Chrisgog, I didn't mean to put you off going to show - only your means of getting there.
We have never been to a MH show before so I am definitely not the one to offer advice about who is going to be there - but we are going on Saturday just to have a look around at what we hope will be the largest selection of MH's we have ever seen under one roof.

I stand to be corrected (and believe me this lot will) but I think you will find that a lot of the 'gangs of people' you refer to go to the other shows because the MH is actually more popular in those parts of the country - i.e Nothern show and West Country show.

I speak as someone from Kent who has found it incredibly difficult to find that many dealers or private sales in this neck of the woods. Take a look at the Classifieds and the vast majority are in the Midlands or North of the country and also down in Devon, Somerset and Cornwall. Just how it goes I suppose but very frustrating. I did read somewhere that Scotland was also a bit low on dealers and MH outlets so at last we Kentish folk have something in common with the 'Sweaties'.

If I was you I might consider coming by train or coach maybe - not sure where the next show after Earls Court is being held - anyone out there know Question Question

Probably the indoor show in Shepton Mallet in January is the next big one in the South.
We would use the car if we went to the show in London but where Earls Court in London is, I dont know? As several of our MH friends are looking for new vans my hubbie has had enough of looking in vans at the moment. I did enjoy camping up at the NEC last year and will do that again . Not much on the accessory side there though.
Will have to wait and see if we go to Earls Court or not.
It must be frustrating not having many dealers near you as after sales is really important when you buy a van. As there is an increase in sales you never know, one might take the opportunity to open up near you soon. or convert the caravan sales to MHs as a few dealers near me have done.
