Fitted mine the other day from Rarespares and it has a beautiful action smooth and positive and give my back no grief at all to use - bolts do show tho. but nice piece of kit nevertheless

I had one fitted by Chelston which was probably supplied or the same as Outdoorbitz. I like it. I can only assume that Fiat designers are trained gibbons as they are the perfectly formed to operate the Ducato controls.

(Now I have the acceossory, the untrained gibbon is a happy monkey)

The Rarespares one is great but a word of warning - if you let the bolts work loose the handle imperceptibly moves forward and eventually the handle doesn't release the brake because it cannot reach the pushbutton. This might happen, for a hypothetical example when you are halfway out of a garage forecourt, leading to an embarrasing inability to move the van Embarassed

Should this happen to you, as an emergency fix you need to shove something slim, such as a biro, into the front of the handle to push the release button on the brake lever and thus release the brake. Very Happy

I must stress that this is not a fault with the extender but simply my lack of tightening of the bolts and checking that they remain tight. They slackened off over about 2000 miles use.
