This looks a better bet - although more expensive - than the outdoorbitz one
http://www.prime-function.co.uk/rare-spares/

has anyone got one?

(will nukeadmin remove this as it competes with his sales and competes with his (this) site

It seriously crossed my mind and so I wasn't sniping at all but had considered the possibility as the whole area of competition is somewhat grey.

I don't really expect that it would be removed but if it was I would be seriously concerned.

I do know the one I had off outdoor bits doesn't fit the new Fiat X2/50 handbrake with out reducing the grip a fair bit.

Don't need one myself, but it does look like a nicely designed bit of kit

Has anyone had any experience with the Renault master van?

The problem her is that the handbrake is on the left and must be released before the driver's seat can be rotated.

Would the addition of this or similar device make the rotation of the seat impossible?

Looks handy for our RHD MK7 Transit Hymer Van522.

The handbrake has been shifted to between the driver's seat and the door.

Due to the extra height of the seat swivel it is a definite reach down action to operate it - not so handy for hill-starts, especially for the short-arsed her-indoors.

Worst bit is that I catch my trousers (or even more dangerously my shorts) on it when exiting the vehicle.

Will this one fit the new X2/50 Fiat cab handbrake lever?

I think it will fit Rita, but I decided against it because it would get in the way of rotating the driver's seat.

Don't know if that would be a problem on your van, but it looks a nice bit of kit if you could use it.

Cheers

Hi, I have seen one of these in action, they are very good and must be one of the best as you just pull the pin out and drop the handle down to rotate the seat leaving the brake on Smile
cheers
