I have added a few new fields to the campsite database here on MHF and one of them will be handy for you

There is now a checkbox when adding or modifying a campsite to say the site is near to Skiing Smile

So if you have already added a campsite then go and find it and modify it to say its near Skiing if it is.

This field is also searchable from the main campsite search page allowing you to filter by only campsites that have skiiing facilities nearby Smile

Now then billym. I know you don't think we think of you guys anymore, but we do. And we're worried about all this snow on your slideout awning (see this thread, & quotes above).

In fact, I was so concerned about you waking up with a slideout awning collapsed after a night of heavy snowfall, that I have thought up a little mod you could do to prevent this happening.

So have a look at the 'snowproof your slideout awning' thread I've posted.
(I put it under a new thread so as not to hijack Batch's)

Have fun in the snow!!

Hi

Can i make a suggestion to further improve your excellent resource?

Could you split the destinations down by country? As a newbie to skiing/visiting the mountains i've got no idea where these places are!

I'm looking to hit the French Alps this winter and it would be nice to see which destinations would be useful to look at.

Cheers
Rich

Hi

I am not into ski ing but had a look at your website.

I shall dig out my coach stuff and send you some info for Cortina/Canazei and the Pordoi area of Italy.

The tip about not operating the electric step is a good one1

Russell

Rich I was going to do that but 90%+ of the places are France at the moment as it expands I will do that and probably add Google maps as well
Rapide that would be great as I only have Livigno from Italy

Thanks
