I have discovered that not all the maps on the site are accurate due to not knowing the name of the road the site/aire is in, If you are going to any of the sites please let me know the name of the road + GPs Co-ordinates if possible. I have updated the ones I know about but please don't rely on the map. It gives a good idea but you may be a couple of hundred metres away.

Any other feedback or pics of sites or info re ski aires would be gratefully received. Please help make this an even better resource!!

Please find GPS co-ordinates for the "St. Anton camp site" in Pettneu, Austria, using a google map and sat view:-

47.144952, 10.338296

centred on entrance gate, between the reception and the Wellness centre!

This is an excellent camp site and has already been entered on the MHF camp site data base for a while now. We have found both the camp site and the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. When a doctor was needed re suspected ski injury, the owner swept my wife up into a car, took her to a local GP in the village, who had an Xray machine in his surgery, waited for my wife whilst he sorted her out (extremely helpful and efficient doctor, less than 1/2 an hour inc. taking and looking at xray, bandages etc.), and then returned her to the campsite and enquired about her every day after that.

Hell of a service.

We booked there and then before departing for this year, again for just after Xmas.

Best of luck with your web page.

Duadua

Hi Kevin

the maps are a good idea... at the risk of being ungrateful! I was going to suggest perhaps a "pull down" menu for your navigation at the top?
You'd save space and the list could grow as long as your arm?

Not wishing to sound ungrateful, as above, etc. .... but is the google marker supposed to mark the camp site or the ski area?

If camp site then St. Anton (Camping Arlberg in Pettneu nearby) is not marked up correctly hence my offer of co-ords above. If I were looking for the camp site I might get frustrated if marker is some Kms, rather than ms away, especially in the snow and dark?

If ski area then apologies.

Perhaps you need two markers, one for the camp site and the other for the ski area.

Best wishes

Duadua

The Google marker started off as the resort as someone commented that they didn't know where they were, I've then tried to focus down now to the site. However Google doesn't accept GPS only roads and then it decides where on the road. ie if you have a 5km long road it randomly places the marker so you could be 5km away. So i've tried to put the site as near as possible and then will put on the web page the GPS if I have them. As I have with St Anton. The idea of a dropdown menu is something I will explore as I could see that working

Keep the comments coming and the info
