Hi

All the points have been added up and the overall winner of The Isabella Photographer of the Year 2007 competition is PEEDEE, well done.

Peedee has photographs placed in all rounds of the competition and really deserves the accolade of the most consistant photographer of the year.

The top three placed photographers were

1st Peedee
2nd Antnjac
3rd Trevorf

The winning photographs of each round are as below.

Round 1 My Motorhome winner PEEDEE
Round 2 The Seasons winner PEEDEE
Round 3 : Motorhome Fun winner PILGRIMPHIL
Round 4 : My favourite View/Landscape winner PHOTOBIKER
Round 5 : Portrait of a Family member , A Friend, A Pet or wildlife/plant winner DABURLEIGH

If you look at the photo albums I have also renamed the top 20 in each round if you are interested

Despite a few problems with the software this has been a fantastic competition with some superb photographs, if you have a bit of time I would really recommend you have a look.

I would like to thank you all who have entered and to all who have voted.

Just a query (hope it doesn't sound like sour grapes) if the gallery is a subscriber only feature - which is what it says on the MHF home page - how come round 4 was won by a non-posting (ever?) non-subscriber?

Great photos though - professional?

HI

Thank you for pointing that out Frank. I will take it up with Nuke and the other mods in the staff room.

"The winner of the photographer of the year and the photographers who win each round will get a medal next to their avatars."

I infer the former gets it on total points for each round, totalled over all 5 rounds, whereas the latter gets it on a single photo, rather than total points in the round. I must confess I didn't appreciate there was to be this difference between them.

I note in one round (can't remember which as I skipped through the albums yesterday) that 3 photos in one round seemed to have "20th" against them?

Regarding round 4. Photobiker is my husband and I am a subscriber. He entered under his own log-in name. Doesn't like to be called Mrs Pammy.

In response to Sallytrafic
To set the record straight I am not a professional photographer and have never sold a photograph in my life.
If I have broken any rules then please withdraw my entries.
If I had not won round 4 then I do not think Sallytrafic's comment would have even been raised.
