Hi all

We have just retired - sold up the bungalow, put stuff in storage, moving in with daughter temporarily and are hitting the road mid December seeking the sun somewhere warmer than Lincolnshire. Just looking around at models - need storage space so maybe the Sundance 630G. Everyone thinks we are cream crackers to be taking the plunge but you only live once, eh? Who in their right mind wants to live with constantly rising prices for rates, fuel and light? So we are just going for it!

Website is tremendous - it seems to me we would never be short of help if we needed it.

Hi You seem to have the timing right re house prices. We were looking to buy a new van this time last year, bit put off by the size of the A class ,but once we had seen the dropdown bed & extra room inside it was a obviously better VFM to buy one used . iIf you are going to the sun ,a continental model might be an advantage ,perhaps one that starts with h & ends r . good luck it took us months to decide! but no regrets rgds deegod

Here i am again Homer Rolling Eyes

Hi willsandco,we would love to just move to Lincs, but work won't allow it.The sun thats a dream for us,if you have the chance,go for it I agree with deegod757 though.have a look in Brownhills at the Hymers then look in books for a second hand left hooker if you fancy them and are going abroad. You won't regret it or lose any money when time comes to sell.

Whatever have a brilliant time.

Hi everyone

Thanks for replying

We're packing all around us. First time we havent been just moving it into another house so it is a bit unnerving putting almost everything into storage.

We will give it a whirl and see how it goes. We used to have a Ford Motorhome Luton in the early 80s and it was great - but we always had to have an eye on the date for the return to work. It all seems a bit ethereal now!

Mustn't forget to pack the corkscrew! Laughing

No doubt we will be back asking silly questions!
