This is definitely trivial but so useful, especially to motorhomers and the like who tend to mooch a lot.
How often have you been wandering round and (for whatever reason) wish you had a decent sized, strong bag with you?
I expect these are available elsewhere, but we found them at the Delhaize supermarket chain in Belgium (along with cheap but very accepable single malt ). It's a large, thin but very strong nylon bag folded into a little case that hooks onto a trouser belt loop. You forget it's there until you need it, then snap open the little press stud and withdraw the bag without even unhooking (and losing?) the case.
Cost about a quid at the checkout, and one of the handiest little items we have seen in a long time.
I wish they sold them over here would definately come in handy
won't be doing much shopping this week anyway, got tonsillitis so am feeling sorry for myself I will have to find a non alcoholic wine for Saturday as we are going to friends for a meal, has anyone tried any that are nice, I like a dry white

Hi Anne
I expect the bags will appear in Wilko's and the various other "fifty-penny" shops before long. It's the sort of thing they go for.
Can't help you with the wine, sorry. I have a few disgraceful vices, but non-alcoholic plonk is not one of them.
I agree they are very handy and strong bags. I got 5 for £5 + P&P from ebay earlier on in the year and we keep a couple in the van and one each in the glove box of the cars and I have one in my handbag. There is always one about that way
