I currently have one of those electronic radio antenna stuck to the windscreen, and am now heartily sick of it cos it's rubbish.
I'm intending to get an aerial fitted at some point in the near future, but was wondering if there was anything on the market which would let me pipe fm to the radio in the cab, and TV to the TV.
cheers

Hi
The Status 530/5 or 530/10 both do that. I can never be bothered extending the masts for radio reception though. would say thats best kept seperate. Fantstic for TV tho.

Thanks for your suggestions.
I should have asked this in the first place, but will these aerials let me pick up FM while travelling?
Cheers

| The Status 315 can recieve radio signals aswell as TV and can be used on the move. I know many slate this aerial but I have always found that I have got a very watchable picture from it as long as the area is not too hilly and I just carry a cheapy standard aerial to plonke on the roof when the Status cannot get a reasonable signal. |

I am sure you can use these aerials for radio on the move, but remember you must have the booster switched on. Are you using the vehicle radio or a seperate one. If you are using the vehicle radio it will involve a long run of co-ax cable.
I can't think why you should mean the vehicle radio, so perhaps I have misunderstood you!
Hope this helps.

Hi,
Tried the Status idea with a car radio works on VHF but not on AM or LW.
The box does say UHF/VHF.
So it was back to the car (or should it be van) aerial.

There is also some discussion on the merits or otherwise of this aerial on an earlier thread at http://www.motorhomefacts.com/posts2782-0.html
I have been doing tests with it using a freeview box and will be posting more to the above thread later.
Does the 530 come with a booster as well ?
