Do you know of any RV or Motorhome Parks near or I can commute to Seckenheim, Germany? (Seckenheim is near Heidelberg and Mannheim.)

I'm looking for a fee-paid RV or Motorhome Park that's open year round, with electric hookups, water, and waste facilities. I'll be working in Seckenheim for at least 3 years and I'm considering full-timing in a 40 feet Conversion Bus as my residence, and either taking a bus, train, or a small car to and from work (Seckenheim).

Thanks for your info.

Hi Jun,

First up, welcome to the site and sorry i couldn't help by PM.

Looked in my book and the nearest all year site i can find is at Weinheim a few kms n/e of Mannheim - camping wiesensee, hemsbach. tel 06201 72619.

Failing that heres a link to mannheim with a few campsites listed;

Bear in mind that european sites have much smaller pitches than you're used to in America so check this before booking anything.

If you get really stuck, then we have a German member of the site called boff who, i'm sure would help you.

Best of luck,

pete.

Thanks Pete, but Jun had already contacted me via PM. My problem is that the only real camp sites I know in this area are closed during winter. And RV and Motorhome Parks like in USA do not exist here.

Best Regards,
Gerhard
