One of our local ones does. I've never noticed the others but you've lit my fuse now so I'll have a look - just out of interest! Very Happy

Hi to all, yesterday I took my V5 to my local Fiat garage to have them check/confirm if there was any outstanding recalls on it.The nice lady Christine went onto the computer and printed of a sheet for my van.
It had all the relevant info on it which confirmed that all recalls were/had been done at the factory in Italy prior to dispatch to Autotrail !!
I showed her the photographs that were in this months MMM with the abs panels for, engine cover, starter cover, wiper motor cover and the ABS control unit cover, three of the above were outstanding (the starter cover was factory fitted) she has ordered these parts and my van is booked in on Tuesday 29th March to have them fitted.
An interesting point was brought up in the conversation,if the customer did not come into the garage and ask for these panels Fiat was not going out of their way to tell any owners of there availability.
The moral is if you have a Fiat based motorhome ask !! By the way this also applies to the peugot variants too !! My sister went to the garage and they have ordered parts for her motorhome too.
take care you all.

no less than a month to hols ---28days!!!

Thanks Metblue- that's useful to know.
The likelihood then is that, for those currently awaiting delivery of the x/250 from Fiat or converter, that all recalls have been done (unless of course more are identified Rolling Eyes )

Useful info about the covers too- Ta!

Without wishing to preach... I won't ever buy Fiat/Peugeot/Citroen again, because they simply do not give a sh** about their customers.

In response to GerryD's crit of Mercedes....Just taken delivery of Merc HRZ, no faults either with conversion or base vehicle so far, and we've clocked up 15 nights away, and 1700 miles. Fuel consumption is 27.8 to the gallon.

Merc may have more recalls - but at least they do them, and solve the problems, which is more than can be said for the Sevel practitioners.

Looks like a nice bit of kit does that HRZ.

As for Mercs having more recalls, I think we are still awaiting evidence on that front.

You ask when to buy a Fiat (or Peugeot).

NOT NOW,

FIAT ARE STILL PISSING ABOUT WITH SPLIT SCUTTLES,

THEY ARE NOT AUTOMATICALLY FIXING THE VANS BUT WAIT FOR CUSTOMERS TO COMPLAIN

THEY ARE DENYING THAT THE JUDDER IS A PROBLEM, THEY CLAIM IT IS SIMPLY A CHARACTERISTIC OF THE VEHICLE.

LAST TIME I HAD A CAR WHICH HAD A JUDDER WAS A 1954 FORD POPULAR AND THAT WAS A CHARACTERISTIC OF MY OLD FORD, IT WAS KNACKERED !!!!!!!!!
