Can't answer your question specifially but would I suppose really come down to condition. If everything is really excellent (including mechanics and chassis) then it doesn't appear too expensive.

The following forums may also be of interest and a agood place for advice specific to VW's

good luck

Sounds like an old AutoSleeper Talisman or Legend. 6 grand seems a reasonable price (top end) IF the habitation hasn't been knocked about.

But the deciding factor is the base vehicle and RUST. Mechanically, you must expect to 'nurture' a vehicle of this age - depending upon mileage, all sorts of things could be expected to need repair or replacement. But if, as I suspect, this is on a Peugeot (Fiat) base then I believe your biggest problem will be rust. Satisfy yourself on this score and you may have a nice little m/home.

Good luck.

In print it sounds reasonable, but you can print anything.
Give this vehicle the full MOT and see Just how reasonable she really is or get someone in the business to run it through.

Looks like you have either,a bargain or someones headache.

having read the description again I am wondering if the base vehicle is a VW LT25 not T25 - they are very different. T25's are normally panel van type conversions with a high top or pop top. The LT25 is more commonly converted with a coachbuilt body If it has and overcab bed -

just athought Smile

My thoughts exactly becks..........

The LT25 is an exact copy of the T3 but bigger if you are only looking at the original cab bit.

I didn't know that anyone made a seamless fibreglass body for a LT, certainly not AutoSleepers (but I stand to be corrected). They made the Clubman (on Transporter), but I didn't think that was made as far back as '85.

Mmmm, it'll be interesting to hear exactly who the converter was, and whether it really is a VW T25 - over to you, Pinkppl.
