My father-in-law would have agreed with you Puss.

He always called it Pisto.

Merry Christmas

Today at 11:00 GMT I received a reply to my complaint to OxO. It is with regret that I have to inform you, that we are now at war with Bisto. Long Live the Queen.

Sadly Ms. Natalie Pilgrim of Premier Foods was only able to offer me comfort an solace and a free recipe brochure. I am sorry but this does not make up for refusing to make the best gravy granuals ever made.

On a more positive note but it could be a red herring, apparently OxO sachets are still available in large Supermarkets with the same stuff in. Also they have produced a new liquid OxO which I suppose I ought to try before contacting my MP.

My Christmas has been shattered. Sad I've gotta go - I'm filling up.

I journeyed yesterday eve to Tesco's in icy conditions quite late hoping to avoid the crush. How wrong I was as the car park was almost full. But I percy veered due to ice on the walkway and did a major search for the liquid and the sachets mentioned in Premier Foods letter. I could find no satches or the liquid version. Only piles upon piles of Bisto products almost taking over one complete side of an aisle. These are indeed worrying times and I can safely say that never will a Bisto product ever enter my portals. Cool

"Golden Fry" can be hard to get but we buy it in preference to Bisto or oxo.
Cheers Sid
