He will come back to you "tomorrow" Captain Snelly. Presumably he does not have a flash gun for his camera

So right, and yet so wrong.

a) I have a flash gun (although the powder doesn't like the damp)
b) It's dark as darkness out in these nether farm regions of the universe
c) I have run out of oxygen which is required for the dizzy heights of the RV roof
d) The brazen primates have been admitted for uro-genital surgery

In other words, it's too bleedin' dark & cold, & I'll do it tomorrow.

Ok?

Dougie.

Hi

Well I tried to think of a reason to cover the fact that you were too ......................... to go up there in the dark Laughing Laughing

Funny story about powder flashs. Back in those days the press photographers had a powder monkey. Very often if there was a number of snappers they would open the shutters at the same time and share a flash just like we all share the sun, we don't need one each.

Any way a new powder monkey did not know this and so he thought that since it was an ounce of powder for one photographer he would need to use 10 ounces for ten photographers. There was a big bang Laughing Laughing Laughing

Had to load this separately. Is this simply an elbow, or is it a joint? I need to be clear about routing the secondary (or perhaps replacement?) cable through the roof. Presumably if it's just a conduit, I'll be able to pull the old cable through?

AND - is there such a thing as an all-in-one dual cable?

Dougie.

There is such a thing as a dual cable, but its more like two cables running parrallel.

You can get a waterproof roof junction box. In fact I believe Maxview has one in their range... can check if you like.

I think it looks like a standard lnb mount. As long as you have plenty of room under the lnb when the dish is folded down, you should be able to add a dual or even quad lnb. Ill pm you a price.

Cheers. What d'ya reckon about the 90° metal elbow? Will I be able to remove the old cable & thread the new one down?

Depends on the hole size through the roof.

You can get a gizmo that you it near the lnb's and combines two into one cable by moving the frequency of one signal then at the other end a second gizmo splits it back into two.
