I use a Canon BJ10SX it's 12 x 9 x 2 inches and is black and white only, but does the job perfectly. Printouts for directions from Autoroute when touring, writing letters, not often, and various other printouts. I'm still on the original ink cartridge after 5 years.

IMO Cannon is the make to go for in portables, as they got it right in the early days of BJ with the BX10 and the fact one of our members is still using one gives credit to the brand.

Is the printer to be used for Text or just photos. There are some very good small printers for just photos available now, many just take your memory card and print so you do not have to use a computer.

If its for text as well, it is well worth looking at the Canon range, their cartridges and paper tends to be cheaper as well.

Hope this helps,

John Cool

Hi

I endorse the other posting about Canon portable printers, I had a "Brother" badged one for about 10 years. It was only B\W (although I believe colur is an option now) but quality was good. The ink refills were a bit on the high side, price wise. I don't know what they are like now.

regards

Hi all,

We run an HP deskjet 350. It runs both B/W and Colour.

There is a deal going on in Staples and it includes everything to make it work.
(Including a rechargable batteryand an infrared portI)

Never missed a beat anywhere we've been.

It doesn't cost anything to have a look at one.

Happy printing

I've got one of them! Razz must be 14 years old by now, only problem in that time was when I accidentally used wrong adapter n it blew up - been great since then.
