Hi everyone

As the title suggests I am looking for a wheelchair bag to accommodate a child's wheelchair for transporting via the bike rack of our van. Currently, it fits nicely unfolded with a motorcycle cover as way of protection from the elements. However, this is time-consuming and I have been looking for a purpose-made bag or zipped cover for a while, without success.

Has anyone got any ideas?

I had a similar problem bought some of this http://www.fabricuk.com/fabrics.php?fabric_type=185

and had it sewn up into a bag, worked perfect alround France in some of the most heavey rain I can remember.

There's a firm advertising in the Caravan Club magazine, called "Bags 4 everything"

They will purpose make moreorless anything so I understnd. Their website is www.bags4everything.co.uk.

Try this co. http://www.sewnsos.co.uk/ had excellent service in the past they make to measure at a very reasonable cost.Various colours in waterproof canvas are available.

You could also try foxwell products, they made a custom roofrack bag for me, couldn't have been more helpful.....

Fiamma make a carry-all zipped bag which fits onto a bike rack. I have one which I use for transporting outside chairs and table etc. Try the Fiamma website.

I managed to get a wheelchair bag, ordered locally from a mobility shop in Southport. It cost Ģ25, which I thought was quite reasonable at the time.

However, I have since bought one of these:
