New thread as this is related to my LNB query but not quite the same.

I now have a Stacker/Destacker which splits the signal from a dual LNB and then puts it back together again inside the van, thus obviating the need for an additional cable.

Assume the dual LNB is now fitted, and the Stacker is connected correctly on the roof. We're now left with the incoming coax cable, which currently inputs into the Oyster control unit, with an output from the control unit to the Sky box. All quite straightforward.

Question:- Am I correct in thinking that the signal should be Destacked BEFORE the control unit? I can't see the unit liking a dual signal being squirted into it, so the solution as I see it is to run the incoming single cable into the Destacker, take the LNB1 output into the control unit (using the existing control unit output to the Sky+ LNB1 input) and the LNB2 output direct to the Sky+ LNB2 input?

Info on Stacker/Destacker
