Note that this is for Club members only
In addition I have been informed that the Club is working on GPS files for major sat nav units and will be available for download " In the near future "

I use the POI downloaded from MHF on my TomTom. It's got club sites and CLs, and is pretty accurate. I found one big error with a CL, but that was obviously because the information was taken from the CC web site as the information on there was wrong!
They do tell you to ignore sat nav directions and use the ones they publish when you're close to the site, but I never do .

Pity they don't make it as a .csv file , then it would be very flexible for conversion to most formats.

is a great converter and I have used it make Memory map, TomTom and Autoroute files. Club site files are not that difficult to keep up to date once you have one because they don't change a lot. On the other hand CLs and CSs are a real pain to keep track of changes. Now if the clubs made those for downloads that would be much more useful.
If you have anything other than a campervan I would not ignore their advice about following their directions for the last few miles.

p.s. 0807... a little later. Ooops just checked my email and by coincidence I was asking the Caravan Club about this and they have informed me they do make CL information available

I will have to download it and see what it looks like. It will certainly make updating information much easier if its usable.

Its in pdf format Anyone know an easy way to get this into xls or csv? It would still be tedious if you copied and pasted it. I keep my POI source files in .csv format. These are then my masters which I can modify and update for conversion to my other applications.

ps a google reveals a number of sources of conversion software, can anyone recommend one?

They are a good base to start from but they are not up to date and I have found lots missing from the C&CC ones. I would much prefer to go to the horses mouth. Does the C&CC list GPS info on their web site like the CC?
