I have been looking for a cheep small camera to take on walks ETC and I have just found this deal at Tesco.

Does this look good value for the money and will it take good pics, we know nothing about cameras and currently use our phone camera when away.

Sue (Mrs M) has something similar only earlier and it's just fine. More or less anything will be better than your phone camera!

Happy snapping

8.0 million pixels and 3X optical zoom
Can't be bad for £49.97 + tesco points. Bit of a steal really.

Was being sold in the US for 220 dollars and got a couple of good write ups although it was said to be good outdoors but not so good in poor light.

Our local camera club used to load a Zenith SLR with a roll of film. Each week one member would take the camera and take one frame. After 36 weeks a competition was held to judge the best Photograph.
This camera was just about the cheapest on the market. The objective:- to suggest it aint the camera its the photographer thats important.

Thanks.

we have just ordered one should be here Monday.

We were going to get a Sony W55, but as this was far cheaper and possibly nearly as good? So we went for this one. We also have a habit of dropping stuff like this and breaking it, I would rather smash £50 worth than £130.
