Hi all,
I would like some feed back from members and 13-18 year olds as to the interest they might have in the following site.

http://www.revisetobewise.co.nr/

A young man I know is trying to set up an education site after seen the failure's in the education system and the disruption in his class rooms. He is a bright young man with a good idea. He is offering this site as a revision site and I think it has a place in the system, and would help. I educated one of my daughters at home and found sites like this very useful.
Thank's for your input You could all make a lot of difference to it's success.
Andrew

how can a forum ever be any good for revision? Its a glorified chatroom. Am I missing something?!

Edit:

Ok now I'm confused. First time I clicked the link I got this:

http://revisetobewise.forum2u.org/

2nd time this:

http://www.revisetobewise.co.nr/

Did you change the link?

I've sure someone has worked very hard on this site but the links don't work, the design is terrible, the page scrolls horizontally, the images are too large, the javascript is partially broken.

Stopping trying to make the site fancy. Put loads of info on there and you may get some success.

I suggest you use a template or something.

This site has a forum as well so that fellow students can give support to each other.
Thanks for your first comment.
Perhaps you could offer some more constructive critisim as the site develops.
Thank you Andrew

Yes. The web these days is more about quality content, rather than technical bells and whistles. The appearance of the site is very 1990s.

The BBC Schools pages

are exceptionally good, and in primary schools we use the revision pages

.

Just looked at the site but as it has little or no content it is not possible to comment on it's merits.

I think that as it's an educational site the author should take particular care that the content and presentation are correct . There are several spelling, grammatical, punctuation and consistency errors which would make me as a parent have some reservations about the general quality of the site. If the presentation has errors would I have confidence in the educational content?
