Does Advertising work?
For quite a long time I have not advertised the Specifications Database in my signature. I have had no additions. I put it back in and I get some.
So is it the Advertising?
What do you think.......Does Advertising work?

Steve - yes I believe it does, but as I have said elsewhere, I believe when people enter their own model, they should enter it as the original BASE model, not with the add-ons they have purchased, or previous owners...as this really distorts it for everyone.
The original database info was as originally sold without the SE options etc., that the likes of Autotrail have.

Advertising is changing. Advertisers need to think of more clever ways of getting us to purchase, and there's a lot of ad-blindness now - they all just pass in front of us (or in our ears) without us noticing. How much of it filters through to our subconscious is difficult to tell.
Maybe this is why you've got some additions now - people started to notice your 'ad' again after a break.
