Being new to MHF we have found this very useful but being a nuisance am curious as to why when you click on some sites it opens an extra window whereas others go to a new screen.

When you go back on the second you loose all the zoom effect and have to start again.

Thanks to MODS in advance.

Good question. That's bugged me too but I've never raised it nor recall it being raised.

hello Brandywine - I've moved this thread into the "bugs" forum; hopefully the "guys who know" will have a look for you. Wink

Well done Brandywine,

It is a bit of a pain to have to start over again. A new window is a lot better.

I think you'll find it's all down to the programmer who can specify in the HTML (the language that displays the web page) whether the link opens in a new window or replaces the existing one.
