Hi Carol

before you buy an expensive custom made sheet......heres a tip.
I found by complete fluke the perfect fitted sheet for any shape of mattress (we have a hymer b510 so same as your present van ie rounded at the back ) well as we bought the van in Germany after having flown over with hand luggage we had to kit it out quickly and cheaply. In a German Woolworths I found my joy ( after scratching my head for some time wondering why all the fitted sheets and duvets were single, not knowing that Germans don't go in for doubles - strange folk ) anyway....... found a stretch cotton fitted single sheet with elastic all the way around and thought it would stretch enough to fit the small double. well that is the only sheet we have ever put on the drop down bed, it's comfy and warm, and it literally doesnt budge an inch not so much as a crease after a week. I am sure it would work perfectly for any shape including the fixed bed with cut out corner type. it cost an amazing 5e !

btw I stumbled across your photo album this morning and must have spent about 2 hours happily trawling through the lot ! have you done any blogs ? didn't know the 640 layout, thought ours was perfect but yours is the first I have seen that I would prefer. Like you we will upgrade in a couple of years, only 2 things on my wish list are bigger fridge and a garage, maybe a Frankia but I know I will miss that bar version table whatever I buy !
good luck with the new Rapido and happy travels !

As per Zebedee,

We always kick of from UK in late April so need a medium Duvet then by the time we get south we need the lightweight, if in the Alps we use both.
We have on occasion taken an electric blanket but don't need it with this van. Thanks for the fitted sheets link I will mail them an enquiry.

Steve
